Chairman of the Central Board 2005-2008

Henning H. Arendt is president of @bc_®, an independent Business Consultancy for Financial Services and Biometrics Advisory, since 1997.

He supported several EU projects e.g. as member of the CoMiFin (Communication middleware for Monitoring Financial critical Infrastructures) financial advisory board and partner of Parsifal (Protection and Trust in Financial Infrastructures).

He participated in the CEPS (Center for European Policy Studies) task force Protecting Critical Infrastructure in the EU.

He is expert for biometrics for the European Commission and speaker/moderator at international conferences.

He was the project manager of BioTrusT, a project to evaluate different biometric solutions for banking and access applications with over 30 partner companies and organizations, sponsored by the German Ministry of Commerce, the Savings Bank Organization and TeleTrusT.

Previously he worked 25 years with IBM, 5 years based in the U.S.A..

He received his university degree Dipl.-Ing. from the Technische Universität Hannover.
