Martin Schulte, born 1965 in Hagen/Germany, is senior fund advisor at First Climate Germany, a leading company in the carbon credit market. Before joining First Climate in April 2008 he was Senior Associate with KWF Business Consultants S.A. in Luxembourg, a concultancy firm focussed on bank consultancy. Until May 2007 he was CEO of Hypo Pfandbrief Bank International S.A., Luxembourg, a specialised bank for public finance. In addition to that he held several senior positions in Hypo Real Estate Group both in Dublin and Luxembourg from 2003 to 2007, for example as Head of Treasury for the bank in Dublin. Before joining Hypo Pfandbrief Bank International in 1999 he worked as derivatives trader for a German mid-size bank. Martin Schulte holds a degree as “Diplom-Kaufmannn” from Göttingen University. He is married and has two daughters. Since February 2008 Martin Schulte is member of the board of European Finance Forum.
